ChainCatcher news, crypto detective ZachXBT disclosed on his personal channel that after the announcement of the U.S. crypto reserve program, he reminded investors to pay attention to the XRP addresses activated by Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen, which still hold over 2.7 billion XRP (approximately $7.18 billion). These addresses related to Larsen transferred over $109 million worth of XRP to exchanges in January 2025.

ZachXBT listed six dormant addresses activated by Chris Larsen, noting that several of these addresses have been dormant for 6-7 years, suggesting that Larsen may have lost access or sent the funds to others in February 2013. ZachXBT also mentioned that Larsen was hacked early last year, resulting in a loss of approximately $112 million.
