Web3 Carnival heats up Hong Kong, Dr. Xiao Feng is invited to jointly inaugurate the 2025 International Innovation and Technology Business Week with Secretary Chan Mo-po and others

The International Innovation and Technology Business Week (BITWeek), organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), was held again in Hong Kong this April. The series of events included the "Smart Lighting Expo," "Hong Kong Web3 Carnival," "Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Expo," "Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fair," and the "Hong Kong World Youth Science Congress."

As one of the five core activities of the International Innovation and Technology Business Week (BITWeek), the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Lab and HashKey Group, and organized by W3ME, successfully concluded at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 6 to 9.

On the morning of April 13, Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman of Wanxiang Blockchain and Chairman and CEO of HashKey, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 2025 International Innovation and Technology Business Week (BITWeek2025). He joined other guests on stage, including the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Paul Chan, Dr. Lam Kin Ngok, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Ms. Xu Xiaolan, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Zhigong Party, Vice Chairwoman of the All-China Women's Federation, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and President of the China Electronics Society, Dr. Wang Weiming, Minister of the Education and Technology Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR, Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong SAR, and Ms. Fang Shunwen, President of the HKTDC, to inaugurate the 2025 International Innovation and Technology Business Week (BITWeek2025).

The Web3 Carnival is a Web3 event brand jointly launched by Wanxiang Blockchain Lab and HashKey Group, organized by W3ME. The previous 2023 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival and 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival were both huge successes. The two events gathered over 250 cutting-edge exhibiting projects and invited more than 800 industry leaders for in-depth exchanges, attracting over 80,000 on-site attendees and featuring more than 300 diverse peripheral activities.

The 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, building on the previous two editions, increased the venue size by 50% compared to last year, exceeding 14,000 square meters, with total attendance over the four days also surpassing last year. The four-day 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival featured six major venues themed around spring, summer, autumn, and winter, symbolizing the vitality of the Web3 industry. Each day of the event showcased different highlights, attracting various audiences from the first day to the last moment. It provided attendees with a feast of intellectual exchanges, nurturing countless insightful perspectives on the future.
