ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin Magazine, the Ministry of Education of El Salvador will collaborate with the Bitcoin Office to launch The Little HODLer project, which will offer financial education courses for students aged 7-13. The project is titled "What is Money?" and will initially pilot in 50 public schools in the La Libertad department, with approximately 1,000 students participating.
The course will provide 3 hours of Bitcoin and financial education content each week, integrating it into the national social studies curriculum. Students will learn about the history of money, the basics of budgeting, saving, and other foundational financial knowledge, as well as the importance of Bitcoin as a financial innovation. This program is an extension of El Salvador's investment in Bitcoin education, which previously launched a Bitcoin diploma course for upper-grade students and the CUBO+ scholarship program for university students.
