Binance updates the collateral ratio for combined margin and the leverage and margin levels for USD-M perpetual contracts
ChainCatcher message, Binance will update the margin collateral ratio for certain assets on June 20, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC), and will update the leverage and margin levels for BTCUSDT and other USD-M perpetual contracts on June 17 and 20, respectively. The specific adjustments are as follows:
- Collateral ratio adjustment: The collateral ratio for several assets has decreased, for example, Diode (DID) from 70% to 60%, AR from 65% to 55%.
- Leverage and margin level adjustment: The leverage level for BTCUSDT perpetual contracts remains at 101-125 times, but the position limit has been increased from 50,000 USDT to 300,000 USDT. Other perpetual contracts such as XRPUSDT, DOGEUSDT, 1000BONKUSDC, etc., have also undergone similar adjustments.
Users should note that positions opened before the update will be affected, and the contract running grid may become invalid due to updates in leverage and margin levels. It is recommended that users make corresponding adjustments before the changes take effect.
