Israel requests the United States to join military action against Iran
ChainCatcher news, according to Jin Shi reports, Israel has requested the United States to join its military actions against Iran in the past 48 hours to "eliminate Iran's nuclear program," but the U.S. has not considered this option yet.
Israel lacks the bombs and large bombers needed to destroy Iran's key nuclear facility, the Fordow facility, while the U.S. possesses both. However, the Trump administration has so far distanced itself from Israel's actions and believes that Iran's retaliation against U.S. targets is illegal. If the U.S. participates in a direct attack on Iran, even if limited to bombing a single location, it would directly involve the U.S. in the war.
