FTX plans to permanently deny compensation to creditors in 49 regions, RootData provides a one-stop claims solution
ChainCatcher news, FTX creditor representative Sunil revealed that creditors from 49 restricted jurisdictions, including China, Russia, and Ukraine, may permanently lose their claim rights, involving an amount of approximately $825 million. Among them, Chinese creditors account for as much as 82%, making them the most severely affected group.
FTX will grant the relevant creditors a 45-day objection period, after which unresolved claims will be voided, and funds will be returned to the liquidation trust for redistribution.
