ChainCatcher news, according to Jin Shi, Federal Reserve Governor Bowman stated on Tuesday that the Fed's ability to formulate monetary policy "without political intervention" is "very important."
In an interview with CNBC, Bowman said, "It is very important for us to maintain independence in monetary policy, but as part of that independence, we also have an obligation to maintain transparency and accountability. In my view, we have a duty to listen to a variety of voices, understand how others view the economy, and how this will influence our decisions in monetary policy formulation."
