Tether CEO: Has invested in over 120 companies, with funds coming from Tether's own profits
ChainCatcher news, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed that Tether has announced part of its investment / venture capital portfolio today. Overall, Tether has invested in over 120 companies, and this number is expected to grow significantly in the coming months and years. The companies invested in include Juventus, Bitdeer, Crystal Intelligence, Rumble, Shiga Digital, and others.
These investments come from Tether's own profits (projected to be $13.7 billion in 2024) and do not involve the reserve assets of USDT (and other stablecoins), falling under the Tether investment department. Tether focuses its investments on key areas such as payment infrastructure, renewable energy, Bitcoin, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and tokenization.
