JPMorgan Chase launches on-chain intraday repo solution

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, JPMorgan has launched a brand new on-chain intraday repurchase solution.

This "cross-digital ledger solution" was built with the assistance of institutional fintech company HQLA-X and the digital asset interoperability project Ownera. The tool allows repo traders to use blockchain deposit accounts on JPMorgan's proprietary Kinexys network to exchange cash held by JPMorgan for securities on the HQLAx platform, with settlement and maturity times precise to the minute.
