The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates in September has dropped to 71.5%
ChainCatcher news, according to CME's "Fed Watch," the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in September is 28.5%, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 71.5%.
Previously reported, the number of initial jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending August 16 was 235,000, expected to be 225,000, and the previous value was 224,000.
