Coinbase will launch index futures trading that includes Nvidia and BlackRock Bitcoin ETFs

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Coinbase announced on Tuesday that it will launch an index futures trading product that combines exposure to top stocks and cryptocurrencies.

The new product, named "Mag7 + Crypto Equity Index Futures," will start trading on September 22, providing traders with an opportunity to trade an index that merges leading tech stocks with BlackRock's spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, while also evenly covering Coinbase's own stock, as well as stocks from Apple, Microsoft, Google's parent company Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta, and Tesla. The index will use an equal-weighted calculation method, with each of the 10 components accounting for 10% of the index.
