ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Google claims that its Willow quantum chip has completed a simulation of quantum chaos in about 2 hours, which would take much longer on classical supercomputers according to research comparisons.

This achievement uses measuring OTCs as a validation benchmark, and researchers say this move advances quantum computing in practical applications such as Hamiltonian learning. Industry insiders believe it is too early to assess the impact on the cryptographic foundation of Bitcoin; Mysten Labs co-founder Kostas Kryptos Chalkias stated, "At least another 10 years are needed."
