Ripple stablecoin RLUSD market capitalization exceeds 1 billion USD

According to CoinDesk, Ripple's USD stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed a market capitalization of $1 billion in less than a year since its launch, ranking 10th among USD stablecoins.

The token is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, with reserves in USD and short-term U.S. Treasury bonds, and has been integrated into Ripple's payment and liquidity system. The current circulation is approximately $819 million on Ethereum and $203 million on XRP Ledger; Ripple claims to have processed nearly $100 billion in payments, with RLUSD being the primary settlement stablecoin.
