"Big Short" Michael Burry: Bitcoin reaching $100,000 is "absurd" and worthless

According to Business Insider, "big short" Michael Burry criticized Bitcoin again in a podcast that aired on Tuesday.

Burry stated in the program, "I think Bitcoin at $100,000 is the most ridiculous thing," and described the cryptocurrency as "worthless." He also pointed out that Bitcoin is "worse than tulip bulbs because it enables so much criminal activity."

This is not the first time Burry has criticized cryptocurrencies. In 2021, he warned that Bitcoin was a "speculative bubble," with risks outweighing opportunities.
