According to Jinshi, Bill Ackman, CEO of hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management, stated that the Federal Reserve may abandon its 2% inflation target. He expects the Fed to set the inflation target in the range of 2.5% - 3% and pointed out that many strong forces will drive the economy and the overall market, making it difficult to envision an environment with no inflationary pressures at all.
