Tether-supported wallet Oobit integrates Phantom, expanding Solana's payment capabilities to the Visa network

According to The Block, Tether-supported mobile wallet Oobit announced the native integration of the Solana ecosystem wallet Phantom, allowing users to make stablecoin payments with one click at Visa-supported merchants worldwide through Oobit's DePay system.

Funds are deducted in real-time from the wallet and automatically converted to fiat currency, without the need for pre-transfer or intermediaries. Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko was involved in Oobit's $25 million Series A funding.
