The product manager of X responded to the doubts: the API used by the platform will be able to process almost any content minted on-chain in real time

X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier previously disclosed that they are currently developing Smart Cashtags. Some users in the crypto community have questioned the backend for querying crypto assets, stating that some small-cap crypto assets that are not yet listed on mainstream exchanges may not be queryable, ultimately forcing users to switch to DEX for queries.

In response, Nikita Bier stated that the API (Application Programming Interface) used by the X platform will be able to process almost any on-chain minted content in real-time. Additionally, when users asked whether it would be possible to conduct crypto transactions on X using self-custody wallets or even CEX widgets in the future, Nikita Bier did not provide a clear response, only replying with a "follow" emoji.
