Data: The cryptocurrency sector fell across the board, with the CeFi sector leading the decline at 6.05%. ETH briefly dropped below $2100
According to SoSoValue data, the cryptocurrency market sector has seen a widespread decline, with a 24-hour drop generally around 2% to 6%. The CeFi sector led the decline with a drop of 6.05%, where Binance Coin (BNB) fell by 7.90% and NEXO (NEXO) dropped by 8.11%. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) decreased by 4.97%, dipping below $72,000 during the day, and Ethereum (ETH) fell by 4.66%, briefly dropping below $2,100.
In other sectors, the DeFi sector dropped 2.09% in 24 hours, but Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose by 2.72% and River (RIVER) increased by 13.69%; the Layer2 sector fell by 2.66%, with Zora (ZORA) remaining relatively strong, rising by 2.89%; the Meme sector declined by 2.97%, while The White Whale (WHITEWHALE) surged by 28.42%; the Layer1 sector dropped by 5.73%, with Solana (SOL) falling by 6.76%; the PayFi sector decreased by 5.89%, and XRP (XRP) fell by 7.17%.
The cryptocurrency sector indices reflecting historical market performance show that the ssiCeFi, ssiPayFi, and ssiLayer1 indices fell by 7.65%, 6.20%, and 5.51%, respectively.
