Google and Meta reach billion-dollar TPU leasing deal
According to The Information, Meta has signed a multi-year agreement to lease Google TPU for training new AI models; Google has also established a joint venture to lease TPU externally and is in talks with Meta to procure TPU for its data centers as early as 2027.
