Informed sources: Anthropic plans to jointly invest $1.5 billion with several Wall Street institutions to establish a joint venture

According to the Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, Anthropic plans to jointly invest $1.5 billion with several Wall Street institutions to establish a joint venture, with Anthropic, Blackstone Group, and Hellman & Friedman each contributing $300 million, and Goldman Sachs contributing $150 million.

The company will help private equity firms and their portfolio companies integrate and adopt AI tools to enhance operational efficiency. Informed sources said the announcement is expected to be made as early as Monday.
