According to data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), as of June 9, hedge funds, asset management companies, and other speculators held a total of $27.8 billion in bullish bets on the dollar, the highest level since February 2025. This change in positions indicates that market bullish sentiment towards this major global reserve currency continues to accumulate.
