META EARTH DEVCONNECT JAPAN successfully held: Reshaping the true value of Web3 with AI Agents

On July 13, 2026, MetaEarth Devs, in collaboration with Teratomo, held the META EARTH DEVCONNECT JAPAN themed "Intelligent Value: Scaling Web3 via AI Agents." The event received support from strategic partners YURU COIN, MetaCarbon, Echobit, and Altlier, as well as strategic media partners CHAIN CATCHER, CoinAnk, and ROOTDATA, with nearly 200 attendees on-site, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

At the meeting, Yuto Sakurai, a representative of the Meta Earth Japan developer community, delivered an exciting keynote presentation about MetaEarth Devs. He first pointed out that Web3 has long failed to truly answer the fundamental question of "where do users come from": rampant fake addresses, lack of real demand, weak incentives, and heavy infrastructure have left developers building alone in an ecosystem without real users.

MetaEarth was born to solve this dilemma. As a modular blockchain ecosystem embedded with KYC native DID, the underlying public chain ME Network has been running smoothly for over two years since its mainnet launch in April 2024, with over 90 million on-chain transactions covering more than 40 countries, and a total of 6.5 million on-chain real users (ME ID users).

The key supporting this is the unique unconditional basic income (UBI) economic model embedded in the official wallet ME Pass: users only need to download ME Pass and unlock the ME ID card to receive 1 permanently staked MEC for free, continuously generating staking rewards into their accounts daily; the ME ID can also unlock multiple benefits such as check-in rewards, invitation rewards, monthly airdrops, on-chain community, and ecological rewards. This model allows real users to continuously accumulate and enables real on-chain demand to grow, thus providing developers with valuable soil that traditional Web3 ecosystems struggle to offer.

On this basis, Yuto further elaborated on the three core concepts of MetaEarth Devs—Real³: real users, real efficiency, real value. Here, developers are no longer faced with cold addresses but with real people; the modular public chain, one-stop SDK, and built-in ME ID protocol allow developers to focus solely on creation without reinventing the wheel; 40% of the Gas Fee generated by developers' self-built RollApps will be returned immediately, combined with the continuously rotating UBI flywheel, ensuring that every bit of value is genuinely returned to developers.

To ensure that the concepts are truly implemented, MetaEarth has also established an ecological fund, providing full-cycle support for developers from project initiation to deployment through Bug Bounty, Grant programs, hackathons, and cross-ecological resource connections. Among them, the first season Bug Bounty has a total prize pool worth $300,000 MEC, with a maximum individual reward of $5,000 MEC. The first phase of the first season has successfully concluded, attracting over 10,000 global developers and users to participate, with a net increase of 2,181 developers in the community, bringing the total to over 2,197; a total of 1,538 reports were submitted, with nearly 200 reports confirmed as valid and included in the reward rating, far exceeding expectations in participation and results.

In addition, the MetaEarth ecological Grant program is also about to launch. The official team will be fully responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and rating, focusing on supporting more valuable Web3 projects to deploy or migrate within the ecosystem, further accelerating the construction of the Meta Earth ecosystem.

Building on two years of stable operation, MetaEarth's next step is to cultivate truly valuable applications from this soil of real users.
