Rubio: U.S. strikes make Iran more willing to negotiate on nuclear issues
According to Jinshi reports, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio stated in an interview with Fox News that due to Washington's military strikes, Iran is now more willing to negotiate on issues including its nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz. Rubio reiterated that the U.S. strikes have destroyed Iran's navy, air force, and missile defense systems, and have "severely weakened" its defensive capabilities. He pointed out that Iran no longer has a "conventional shield," which has changed the negotiation landscape, making Iran more willing to reach agreements on denuclearization and the Strait issues.
