The Washington court orders Kalshi to cease sports, election, and other prediction services

The Washington State Court has ordered the prediction market platform Kalshi to cease offering prediction services related to sports, elections, politics, entertainment, culture, technology, and science, due to its violation of the state's gambling laws.

The court also requires Kalshi to implement geofencing technology by September 2 to prevent users in Washington State from accessing the relevant services.
