Data: A certain ETH trader incurred a loss of approximately $414,000 from swing trading over two months

2026-08-17 23:13:46

According to Lookonchain monitoring, an ETH trader recently bought back 1,674 ETH at a high price, worth approximately 3.19 million USD, with a purchase price of about 1,906 USD.

Lookonchain stated that this trader has a long-standing operation pattern of "selling low and buying high." Two months ago, this address still held 1,891 ETH, but now only has 1,674 ETH left, having reduced their holdings by 217 ETH through frequent swing trading, resulting in an estimated loss of about 414,000 USD at current prices.

Lookonchain pointed out that for such traders, frequent trading not only fails to improve returns but also leads to asset shrinkage due to market volatility, stating, "Sometimes, simply holding may be better than blind trading."
