Bloomberg analysts: The return of gold and Bitcoin ETFs to the top ten may signal devaluation trading

2026-08-26 07:52:34

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that gold and Bitcoin ETFs have returned to the top ten funds by trading volume, which may indicate that "devaluation trades" are replacing the AI craze.

Balchunas pointed out that this phenomenon reflects the market's capital flow shifting from AI-related assets to asset classes like gold and Bitcoin, which are seen as hedges against currency devaluation.
