Brazil's pro-Bitcoin presidential candidate Santos has had his campaign funds frozen
According to BeInCrypto, the digital campaign of Brazil's "pro-Bitcoin" presidential candidate Renan Santos has been suspended, with 3.3 million reais (approximately 600,000 USD) of public campaign funds frozen and 16 campaign social media accounts restricted.
Weeks before this ruling, Santos had just supported the establishment of a national Bitcoin reserve. His candidacy has not been revoked, but his online reach and funding have been severely impacted.
