TrendForce: In Q2 2026, DRAM industry revenue increased by 59.5% quarter-on-quarter

2026-09-07 15:16:48

According to TrendForce's latest research on the memory industry, in the second quarter of 2026, due to a significant increase in the contract price of Conventional DRAM, the overall revenue of the DRAM industry is expected to grow by 59.5% quarter-on-quarter, reaching nearly 154.73 billion USD.

With the training of LLM models and AI inference stimulating the demand for AI Servers, shipments of HBM3e, LPDDR5X, and high-capacity RDIMMs are growing simultaneously, while Agentic AI applications are driving the demand for RDIMMs of various capacities. On the supply side, manufacturers' inventories are at a low point, and new supply is prioritized for Server applications, leading to a slight growth in overall DRAM bit shipments in the second quarter.
