Arkham marked that Wintermute holds a position of 2.4 million USD in PONS

According to The Defiant, the on-chain data analysis platform Arkham has attributed a holding of 3.43 million PONS (approximately 2.4 million USD) to the market maker Wintermute, making it a significant new holder of PONS. Arkham stated that Wintermute appears to be gradually buying PONS through a time-weighted strategy and speculated that it may be preparing to market make for the token on-chain.

PONS is the native token of Pons, a meme coin launch platform on the Robinhood Chain, which is responsible for routing completed fundraising tokens to the Uniswap pool. Arkham's data shows that this holding accounts for approximately 0.48% of the circulating supply of PONS (712.1 million tokens) and 0.34% of the total supply (1 billion tokens). Additionally, 6.46 million and 5.58 million PONS are held in the Uniswap V3 pool and the Uniswap PoolManager contract, respectively.

Previously, Uniswap Labs had also purchased PONS tokens, and the Pons project team stated that this move aims to achieve "long-term alignment."
