A Singaporean man impersonated Google and Gemini customer service to defraud 240 million USD in Bitcoin

According to CoinDesk, a 22-year-old man from Singapore will plead guilty in one of the largest cryptocurrency thefts in the United States.

The scammer posed as customer service representatives from Google and Gemini, tricking an investor into handing over Bitcoin worth $240 million.
