Anthropic is reported to abandon the $6 billion acquisition of Decart

Sources say that Anthropic has decided to terminate its plan to acquire the artificial intelligence startup Decart AI. Anthropic had previously conducted due diligence on Decart for a deal worth approximately $6 billion but ultimately chose to walk away, although both parties may explore other forms of collaboration in the future.

The software and hardware collaborative optimization technology developed by Decart can enhance chip utilization efficiency and reduce AI training and inference costs. Anthropic has rarely engaged in large-scale mergers and acquisitions and is currently making significant investments in computing power to develop new products and serve customers, while preparing for an initial public offering that may approach or even exceed that of SpaceX.
