DeepSeek has adjusted the offline schedule for V4 Pro. Previously, the official announcement stated that once V4.1 Flash officially goes live, all V4 Pro requests would be automatically switched to the new model; the latest notification changes this to September 14 at 12:00, when V4 Pro will be taken offline, and all requests will be switched to V4.1 Flash, with billing based on Flash prices.

The previous automatic replacement plan has sparked opposition from many developers. Many developers are concerned that their carefully tuned Prompts, Agents, and production processes around V4 Pro will encounter issues due to the backend directly switching models. Some have suggested that DeepSeek retain the old model for a period of time, allowing users to decide when to migrate.
