The U.S. CPI monthly rate reached a new high since June of this year
The seasonally unadjusted CPI in the United States for August recorded a monthly rate of 0.4%, the highest since June of this year, in line with expectations, with the previous value being 0.1%. The seasonally unadjusted CPI year-on-year for August recorded 3.4%, meeting expectations and unchanged from the previous value.
