The U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctions the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange BitBank
The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange BitBank, accusing it of helping to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin to the IRGC.
The action also targeted the developers of the exchange and three associates of the Iranian financier Babak Zanjani.
