Tesla AI5 chip is being trial-produced at the Samsung Taylor factory
Samsung Electronics has started prototype production of AI5 chips for Tesla at its foundry in Taylor, Texas. Due to the surge in demand for AI chips, Samsung has accelerated prototype output for yield verification, planning to complete mass production validation by the end of this year and to supply fully next year.
