Polygon Founder: 100 million POL will be permanently destroyed soon
Polygon founder Sandeep posted on platform X that Polygon is ready to permanently burn 100 million POL tokens. The related contract is currently in the testnet and will go live on the mainnet after the final signature from the Polygon Council.
After going live, anyone can trigger the first burn, and then community members can execute a burn operation once every quarter.
