Santiago Capital CEO: Bitcoin is the best pure asset for global liquidity increase

According to Bitcoin Magazine, Santiago Capital CEO Brent Johnson stated in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine that Bitcoin is not a currency but the best "pure play" asset to bet on the rise of global liquidity.

He believes that as the scale of digital assets and stablecoins continues to expand, Bitcoin will exist in the long term. The global overissuance of currency may drive Bitcoin to rise significantly, but he still does not believe that Bitcoin will replace the dollar system.

Johnson is the proponent of the "Dollar Milkshake Theory," which suggests that the global debt crisis will actually strengthen the dollar. He mentioned that the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield has reached 5% and discussed the sovereign debt crisis, while paying attention to three major market signals: credit spreads, VIX, and the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY), as well as the dollar index range needed for the global economy, referred to as "the Band."

He also talked about the GENIUS Act, stablecoins, and the trend of global dollarization, explaining why Bitcoin is a bet on global liquidity. Santiago Capital's investment directions include gold, defense, AI, and tokenization. Johnson also discussed tokenization, 24-hour trading, and the markets in Central and South America.
