Strive's issued SATA preferred stock is expected to raise approximately 55 million dollars in the week ending October 5, which is enough to purchase about 638 bitcoins at a price of approximately 82,800 dollars per bitcoin. The total trading volume of SATA for that week is about 317 million dollars.
The trading price of SATA was above the par value of 100 dollars for most of Monday and Tuesday, but fell below par value from Wednesday to Friday, leading to an expected pause in the issuance activity. The 8-K filing submitted by Strive and Strategy on Monday will confirm the actual number of bitcoins purchased with the related funds. As of October 2, Strive held 29,462 bitcoins, having purchased 2,000 between September 28 and October 2 at an average price of approximately 84,422 dollars. Strategy did not sell any STRC between September 28 and October 4, only acquiring 334 bitcoins through the sale of MSTR common stock.
