Strategy plans to change STRC to daily dividends, maintaining an annualized dividend yield of 12% in November
Strategy officially stated that the company has conditionally declared a daily dividend for its variable rate A series perpetual preferred stock STRC from November 1 to November 30, 2026, maintaining an annualized regular dividend rate of 12.00%.
This arrangement depends on the approval of the daily dividend amendment by Strategy shareholders at the special shareholder meeting on October 28, and the completion and effectiveness of the relevant preferred stock terms revision. If conditions are met, STRC will use each calendar day as the dividend record date starting from November 1, including weekends and U.S. holidays; the corresponding dividend will be paid on the next business day after the applicable record date.
This adjustment will change the cash flow rhythm of STRC. The product currently adopts a bi-monthly dividend mechanism, and future holders will receive more frequent, smaller dividend payments; Strategy emphasizes that the adjustment will not change the annualized dividend rate or the total annual dividend amount. If the amendment is not approved, STRC will continue to pay dividends according to the existing semi-monthly rhythm.
According to the proposed terms, the 12% rate will cover the entire month of November; thereafter, STRC's applicable dividend rate will be determined monthly, and the company must announce the next month's rate by the 15th of the previous month.
