Meta was revealed to be collaborating with Fourier to create a humanoid robot named Max

According to reports from the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, citing informed sources and The Information, Meta has collaborated with the Chinese robotics company Fourier to create a humanoid robot prototype named Max, and has begun developing a second-generation product. An informed source stated that the two parties created this humanoid robot, which weighs about 106 pounds (approximately 48 kilograms), in just three months.

The report indicates that this work aims to help Meta's robotics department refine future products, which may potentially be officially launched, although the release date has not yet been determined. Two informed sources mentioned that Li-Chen Miller, Vice President of Product for Meta's robotics business, worked at Fourier's Shanghai factory for nearly two months to jointly advance the development of the prototype.

Fourier refers to Shanghai Fourier Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2015, headquartered in Shanghai, with business covering rehabilitation robots and general humanoid robots, and has launched the GR series of humanoid robot products.
