Ripple CEO: XRP is expected to become the "gold standard" for institutional crypto channels within five years

Garlinghouse stated that Ripple will prioritize the use of XRP in suitable scenarios, but some transactions are more suitable for using fiat currency or Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD. He introduced that about half of the RLUSD is issued on the XRP Ledger, which can bring liquidity and trading volume to the network. He also mentioned that XRP can serve as a bridge asset between different currency pairs.
