Chain Catcher news, ApeCoin Special Committee member Maaria Bajwa has initiated a new proposal named "Funding For Public Goods (EthGlobal & Gitcoin)" AIP-96, proposing that ApeCoin DAO provide funding for open-source projects such as EthGlobal and Gitcoin.It is reported that the proposal requests ApeCoin DAO to contribute 200,000 USD worth of APE tokens, of which 45,000 USD is to support the ETHOnline hackathon and donate another 5,000 USD to the ETHOnline community, 100,000 USD to fund a dedicated Gitcoin ApeCoin ecosystem program, and 50,000 USD to fund Gitcoin's climate projects.
