ChainCatcher news, the blockchain application platform Lisk has initiated a vote on "Retaining or Destroying 100 million LSK tokens" (25% of the total capped supply of 400 million). This vote is scheduled to take place on September 24 on the new Lisk DAO and will last for 7 days, until October 1.If the community chooses to allocate to the DAO fund, 100 million LSK tokens will be allocated to the Lisk DAO fund. These tokens will belong to the fund from 2027 to 2033, with 15 million LSK tokens distributed each year for six years, and 10 million distributed in the seventh year.If the community chooses to destroy, 100 million LSK tokens will be permanently removed from the total supply. This move will reduce the total supply of LSK tokens by 25%, down to 300 million tokens.
