Pan Gongsheng, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, delivered a speech titled "Some Thoughts on Global Financial Governance" at the 2025 Lujiazui Forum, presenting four thoughts on global financial governance: promoting the multipolarization of the international monetary system and the reform of SDR, accelerating the diversified development of cross-border payment systems, strengthening global financial stability and regulatory coordination, and advancing the governance reform of international financial organizations to enhance the representation of emerging markets.
