Memories.ai completes $16 million financing, collaborates with NVIDIA to create an AI visual memory layer
AI visual memory startup Memories.ai announced a partnership with NVIDIA to build a visual memory infrastructure for wearable devices and robots using NVIDIA's Cosmos-Reason 2 visual language model and Metropolis video search platform.The company was co-founded by former Meta Ray-Ban glasses AI team members Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou in 2024 and has completed $16 million in funding, led by Susa Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners. The company launched its Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM) in July 2025 and has partnered with Qualcomm, planning to run the model on Qualcomm processors later this year.
