ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, Seattle-based Dangerous Things and VivoKey Technologies have launched a cryptocurrency wallet that can be implanted subcutaneously in the human body using NFC and RFID technology for secure cryptocurrency transactions.According to official personnel, "These wallets are hardware wallets used for sending cryptocurrency. Your mobile app is your interface, but it has no private keys. The private keys and the actual signatures for Bitcoin transactions or cryptocurrency transactions are done within the chip." The retail price of the implanted device Apex Flex is $349.Currently, it supports several different Bitcoin and cryptocurrency wallets, including: Satochip wallet, Seedkeeper app, and Status IM keycard wallet. These wallets are compatible with different blockchain networks.Dangerous Things and VivoKey were founded in 2013 and 2017, respectively, specializing in custom installations of near-field communication (NFC) and radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology in the human body.
