Jensen Huang: NVIDIA's AI computing power increases by 1 million times every 10 years
ChainCatcher news, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA's (NVDA.O) artificial intelligence computing power increases by about one million times every 10 years. We continue this trajectory through innovative approaches, not just by increasing chip speed. Our collaboration with TSMC (TSM.N) has led to a new process called COOS-L, making large-scale chip manufacturing possible, while we have developed the world's fastest switch, NVLink, currently operating at a speed of 7.2TB. The NVLink backbone boasts an astonishing bandwidth of 130TB per second, connecting a total of 72 GPUs with innovative wiring and structured coaxial cables. Nine data streams are interconnected per second, highlighting the strength and design behind the NVLink architecture through robust connections between switches.
