ChainCatcher news, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Taiko based on zkRollup, has been optimizing its Rollup protocol since the launch of its autonomous network, reducing L1 Gas costs by over 30%. It is now focusing on developing new features and improving existing ones:Enhanced L2 EIP-1559;Transaction Preconfirmation;Introduction of new transaction type Sponsored Transactions;Cancun EVM support;Enable contracts to use Calldata as DA;Enhanced Min-Tier selection.In addition, the Ontake upgrade version will include several features and improvements outlined above, with testing planned to begin on the Hekla testnet before October, followed by a mainnet upgrade in the fourth quarter of this year.
