ChainCatcher news, according to Forbes, a Bitcoin nonprofit organization Btrust, founded by former Twitter (now X) CEO and Block CEO Jack Dorsey along with rapper Jay-Z to support Bitcoin development in Africa and India, has acquired the African Bitcoin talent company Qala. The deal was completed on September 1, and Qala has been renamed to Btrust Builders Programme.Longe and Qala project manager Stephanie Titcombe will join Btrust as project leads for Btrust Builders, which is shifting its focus to open-source training and inviting senior software developers from Africa to participate in the development of Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
