ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Singapore-based Web3 developer OtherWorld today announced the launch of a beta version of an NFT platform based on the popular Korean web novel and webtoon Solo Leveling.OtherWorld is utilizing a custom Layer 1 network built on Avalanche, which the company states will feature gasless NFT transactions. OtherWorld mentioned that the platform will be maintained to eventually bring more webtoons and K-pop IPs into the Web3 space.Players on the platform can have their characters follow the original story of Solo Leveling, leveling up by defeating monsters and collecting cards. Users who possess high-level monster cards will receive various rewards, including a PFP (profile picture) NFT of the main character from Solo Leveling.
